Contractors Report is being built as an independent field manual: concise explanations, official-source links, research methods, and tools that help a business decide where it fits before spending time on a pursuit.

The primary audience is a capable small business that performs real work but is new to federal subcontracting or needs a more disciplined way to research primes, opportunities, wage requirements, and positioning.
What it is not
This is not a government website, a bid service, a law firm, a certification authority, or a pay-to-rank contractor directory. No article or tool can replace the solicitation, contract documents, current regulations, or advice from a qualified professional who knows the facts of a particular pursuit.
